Weaving The Fabric of Distinction

Owning the fabric manufacturing process not only allows greater control of the development process which leads to better quality and improved manufacturing times, it also ensures sustainable growth of the South African economy by empowering local communities, wherever possible. This key success factor adds further value by ensuring that the supply of vital raw material needed for our clothing division is more predictable and allows faster response times to the industry trends.

I started in the textile industry 16 years ago as a packer in the yarn store. I worked my way up in the company and they sent me to Natal Technicon where I obtained my National Diploma in Textile Technology (Dry Processing).
I then specialized in production management and obtained a National Certificate in Production Management achieving the top results in my group.
I received further technical training in Germany and Italy.
Manufacturing knitted material is now in my blood and developing new and exciting fabrics is more than just a job to me it’s my passion.
